WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first visit
Once you have completed our new patient paperwork, you will meet with Dr Jack to determine whether chiropractic care is right for you. If so, he will proceed with the exam which consists of evaluating your range of motion, posture, muscle strength, reflexes & any neurological or orthopedic tests necessary for your condition.

After the exam, if warranted, x rays of the spine will be taken. The doctor will review the films with you and go over all his findings.

At this time, you will receive your first adjustment.

Length of visits
Your first visit will take about 45-60 minutes.

Follow up visits range from 10-30 minutes depending on your specific treatment needs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
Most insurances do not require a referral to see a chiropractor. However, if your plan does, we will help you through the process.
WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept most insurance plans. And most plans have chiropractic benefits. We will be happy to check your coverage for you.
DOES A CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT HURT?
Treatments typically do not cause pain. However, what you feel can very depending on your issues and it is important to let the doctor know what you are feeling. Any discomfort is generally short term and similar to sore muscles following a gym workout.
WHY DO I HAVE TO COME SO OFTEN?
By the time patients come in to see us, many of their issues have been going on for years. As a result, the body has likely adapted to a poor postural state & not for the better.  And this leads to muscles being too tight, weak or possibly damaged. Treatment 2-3 visits per week at first may be necessary to help restore proper function & break the pain cycle to return the spine to its proper alignment.
WILL THE PAINÂ GO AWAY ON ITS OWN?
Many aches and pains can & will resolve on their own. But these issues usually resolve within a few weeks. If pain continues beyond 2 weeks, gets worse or if you have had multiple episodes over several months or more, then it is time to see a professional.
